MI-2H Oil Skimmer    -    The MI-2H Oil Skimmer, operates on the rotating disc principle and will remove most types of oil, even in the presence of debris.  The PVC discs are oleophilic and hydrophobic.  This means they attract oil and reject water, resulting in typical recovery efficiencies (oil as a fraction of total liquid) well in excess of 90 percent. This is a tremendous advantage over weir type skimmers or vacuum systems in situation where the recovered liquid must be stored or treated.
